Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji has paid a visit to Higher Superintendent Osho Oluwasola, one of the officers of the State Fire Service, who was injured during a fire incident at a filling station in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.
Governor Oyebanji took to his official X handle to make this known on Monday.
Oyebanji stated, “Today, I visited Higher Superintendent Osho Oluwasola, one of our gallant firefighters who was injured last week while bravely extinguishing a fire at a filling station in Ado Ekiti, the state capital.
“His heroic actions, alongside his team, prevented what could have been a devastating disaster, saving lives, properties, and investments.
“I went to express the gratitude of the Government and people of Ekiti State, as well as to check on his recovery. I am glad to see that he is recuperating well and remains committed to his vital role in ensuring the safety of our communities.
“Our administration remains committed to prioritising the safety and security of all Ekiti residents as part of our broader strategy for a thriving and resilient state.
“Thank you, Mr. Osho, and your entire team, for making us proud. Your courage and commitment inspire us all.”
