Meet The Jiëng People of South Sudan

The Jiëng people of South Sudan are notable for their exceptional height, with males and females averaging 182 centimeters.

According to investigation, individuals under 1.80 meters are considered short. It is commonplace to encounter individuals exceeding two meters in height walking through the Streets. Notably, Manute Bol, a renowned NBA player from this region, stood at 2.31 meters.

Meanwhile, beyond their stature, the people of this region are distinguished by their rich cultural heritage and pastoral traditions, where livestock play a vital role.
