Port Harcourt Refinery Commences Operation
The Port Harcourt Refinery which Nigerians have been waiting for to commence production, has taken off on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.
This was disclosed in a tweet released by the Special Adviser to President Tinubu, on Media and Public Communications, Sunday Dare.
According to Dare, the Port Harcourt Refinery is expected to produce 60,000 barrels of crude oil per day, and about 200 trucks are expected to load fuel per day at the Refinery.
Dare twitted, “The Port Harcourt Refinery has two Wings. The Old Refinery comes on stream today with an installed production capacity of 60,000 barrels per day of crude oil. About 200 trucks are expected to load products daily from the refinery Renewing the Hopes of Nigeria.”
