Former lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District at the upper Chamber of the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani, has disclosed that the alleged emerging terriorist group- “Lakurawa”, in the northern part of Nigeria, is not a new terriorist group.
Senator took to his official social media handle to make this known.
According to Sani, Lakurawa is a part of the chain of terriorist forces unleashing evil along the length of Sahel.
Sani said, “Lakurawa is not a new terrorist group.Its part of the chain of terrorist forces unleashing evil along the length of the Sahel.
“The major difference btw the Lakurawa & the Nigerian based bandits and terror groups is that the chain of command of the former are foreigners.
“Lakurawa are likely to engage in continuous battle of supremacy against their Nigerian counterparts.
“Combating and annihilating Lakurawa demands a multinational action especially between Benin Republic,Niger & Nigeria.Pursuing a ‘jihadist’ agenda by beheading innocent people is nothing but a despicable act of lunacy.
“Nigeria will never be subjugated or conquered by such evil souls;But this is a challenge to Ecowas to unite and fight.”
Recall, few days ago, the Nigerian Army- Defence Headquarters, raised an alarm that a new terriorist group has emerged in the northern part of Nigeria.
Report also revealed that the terriorist group is currently recruiting youths in the northern region of Nigeria.
