2025 African Cup of Nations: Eguavoen Releases List of Players Against Benin Republic, Rwanda

 

Super Eagles interim coach Augustine Eguavoen has announced his 23-man squad for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.

The team selection includes Victor Collins from Nasarawa United as the sole home-based player. Meanwhile, Gabriel Osho, a defender from AJ Auxerre, is set to potentially make his debut for the Nigerian national team, having received his second call-up.

Star forward Victor Osimhen, who had missed previous matches due to injury, has returned to bolster the squad.

The Super Eagles will face the Cheetahs of Benin Republic at the Felix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan on Thursday, November 14. Four days later, they will host the Amavubi of Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
