Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has presented a budget of N375.79 to the State House of Assembly for the year 2025.
Oyebanji took to his official social media handle to share the official exercise.
He stated, “Today, I presented the 2025 budget estimate of N375.79 billion to the Ekiti State House of Assembly, reflecting our commitment to food security, job creation, and sustainable growth. This budget, developed through inclusive consultations with communities across Ekiti, aligns with our Shared Prosperity agenda.
“I am especially pleased that we executed the 2024 budget without any borrowing—an achievement made possible by the trust and support of Ekiti people. In 2025, we will build on this foundation, prioritising key sectors, including agriculture, MSME grants, and infrastructure projects, to strengthen our economy and create more opportunities.
“As we focus on food security, wealth creation, and enhancing welfare, we are equally committed to attracting investment, bridging infrastructure gaps, and ensuring Ekiti remains a great place to live, work, and invest. Together, let’s make 2025 a year of continued progress for our dear state.”
