The Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has inspected farms in Oke Ako Ekiti, Iyemero Ekiti and Igede Ekiti.
This was disclosed in a comment shared via the official X (formerly Twitter) handle of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
According to Governor Oyebanji, this inspection is part of his government’s efforts towards agricultural development and food security in Ekiti State.
Governor Oyebanji stated, “I spent a better part of today inspecting farms in Oke Ako Ekiti, Iyemero Ekiti, and Igede as part of our ongoing efforts toward agricultural development and food security in our state.
“It was a delight to witness the dedication and hard work of the young farmers involved in the “Bring Back the Youths to Agriculture” initiative managed by YSJ in conjunction with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security. I had the opportunity to meet and encourage these dynamic youths, as well as engage with the leadership of the host communities.
“The infectious enthusiasm and determination of these young farmers further reinforced my belief in agriculture’s potential to drive industrialisation and create wealth in our state. Our administration is fully committed to ensuring food security, empowering young farmers, and strengthening collaboration with established agribusinesses.
“Together, we will leave no stone unturned in our quest to transform the agricultural sector and create a prosperous future for our people.”
