The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has paid a visit to the flooded areas in Maiduguri, Borno State capital
Tunji-Ojo made this known in a statement shared via his official social media handle on Wednesday.
He said, “Yesterday, I was in Maiduguri, Borno State, which was hit by flooding.
“As a responsive government, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) has expressed his condolences and also reinstated commitment to restoration of normalcy.
“Despite the travail, I have seen the people show strength and fortitude.”
“Our goal is to rebound from this disaster stronger and more resilient than ever.”
