Ondo State Governor, Honourable Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has paid a condolence visit to the people of Idanre following the passing of their traditional ruler, Oba (Dr) Frederick Adegunle Aroloye Arubiefin IV, the Owa and Paramount Ruler of Idanre Kingdom.
Governor Aiyedatiwa shared photos of his visit through his social media (X) handle on Saturday.
Aiyedatiwa described the late monarch, Owa of Idanre as a pillar and beacon of progress for Idanre people.
Aiyedatiwa stated, “Yesterday, I paid a condolence visit to the people of Idanre following the passing of their revered monarch, Oba (Dr) Frederick Adegunle Aroloye, Arubiefin IV, the Owa and Paramount Ruler of Idanre Kingdom.
“I described the Late monarch as a pillar of unity and a beacon of progress for Idanre Kingdom even as I lauded the late monarch’s unwavering commitment to the development of his people.”
The Governor, who visited the private residence of High Chief Olu Akindolire, the regent of Idanre Kingdom, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the regent for his leadership and diligence in maintaining stability and order in the town during this transitional period of Owa of Idanre.
“Lastly, I visited the private residence of High Chief Olu Akindolire, the regent of Idanre Kingdom; I expressed my heartfelt appreciation for the regent’s leadership and diligence in maintaining stability and order in the community during this transitional period following the monarch’s passing.”
