Kamala Harris Picks Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as Her Running Mate
United States’ Vice President and presidential candidate of Democratic Party, Kamala Harris, has picked the Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz as her running mate in the forthcoming presidential election in U.S.
Harris took to her official social media (X) handle to make this known on Tuesday.
Harris said she is proud to announce that she has picked Tim Walz, a governor, a coach and a teacher, to be her running mate.
Harris said, “I am proud to announce that I’ve asked @Tim_Walz to be my running mate.
“As a governor, a coach, a teacher, and a veteran, he’s delivered for working families like his.
“It’s great to have him on the team.”Now let’s get to work. Join us.”
Recall, after the presidential debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, Biden announced his decision to step down from the race and nominated his Vice, Kamala Harris as presidential candidate for Democratic Party, the decision which was widely applauded by the Democrats.
Few days ago, Kamala Harris was able to secure the Democratic Party’s nomination as the substantial presidential candidate of the Party.
Now, the forthcoming presidential election in the United States is going to be contested by Vice-President Kamala Harris of the Democratic Party and former President Donald Trump of the Republican Party.
