Traditional Ruler of Idanre in Ondo State joins his ancestors.
The first class paramount ruler of Idanre Town in Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo State, His Imperial Majesty Oba Frederick Adegunle Aroloye, Arubiefin IV, Owa of Idanre has joined his ancestors.
The news of the departure of the traditional ruler was broken via the official social media handle of former federal lawmaker who represented Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency of Ondo State at the lower chamber of the National Assembly, Honourable Alhaji Tajudeen Adefisoye, aka Small Ahlaji.
The exit of the monarch was also confirmed by the Lisa of Idanre Land and traditional Prime Minister of Idanre, High Chief Christopher Oluwole Akindolire.
Akindolire said necessary traditional rites are already being put in place.
Meanwhile, the former lawmaker, Adefisoye said he received the news of the exit of the first class traditional ruler with heavy heart.
“It was with a very heavy heart that I received the news of the exit of my loving, dearest and highly revered royal father, The Owa and Paramount Ruler of Idanre Kingdom, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Fredrick Adegunle Aroloye, Arubiefin IV, (JP), OFR.” Said, Adefisoye.
The late Royal father who reigned for 42 years after ascending the throne in 1976, joined his ancestors at the ripe age of 102 on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, as the time of filling this report, Ondo State Government has not released official statement concerning the passage of the Royal father.
