Why I slapped my Father- Nollywood Actor Femi Adebayo

Nollywood Actor Femi Adebayo Narrates Why He Slapped His Father, Oga Bello

A Nollywood actor and films producer, Femi Adebayo has explained reason he slapped his father, Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello) in a film

According to Daily Post, the actor slapped his father in 2008, while on the movie set of actress Funke Akindele’s film, ‘Taiwo Taiwo’.

However, in his latest interview, he stated that he did apologize to his father after the scene.

In a trending video shared via official social media (X) handle of “Nollywood Citadel,” Femi Adebayo described the slap as unintentional because it wasn’t part of the script.

Femi Adebayo said, “I ended up slapping my father in Funke Akindele’s movie, ‘Taiwo Taiwo’ while trying to act like an aggressive thief.

“It wasn’t in the film that I had to slap him, but the character was an aggressive thief, and the man didn’t want to give us money and I just realized that I raised my hand to hit him.

“So, when I begged him after the scene, he was like you would have been in trouble if you had failed to hit me.”
