Recall, on Thursday during the meeting of Organised Labour with Federal Government of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced N70,000 as the new minimum wage for workers in Nigeria.
The leadership of the Organised Labour accepted the federal government’s offer due to the fact that National Minimum Wage law would now be reviewed on every three years instead of five years.
In addition to the approval of N70,000 minimum wage, President Tinubu also promised to approve at least 36 CNG powered buses for Labour unions, in order to alleviate the current economic hardship being faced by workers.
