Talent, I Do Not Have, But I Surround Myself With People Who Have it.
The Nigerian born economist, international businessman, industrialist and philanthropist, Tony Elumelu has said that he didn’t have talent, but surrounded himself with people who have it.
Elumelu took to his social media (X) handle to make this known.
The business tycoon added that people need to recognise their limitations, and that they should make sure they support themselves with enough people who are more talented and better than they do in their area of specialisation.
“You must recognise your limitations but make sure you are intelligent enough to support yourself with those who are better, those who are more intelligent in that area than yourself.” Said, Tony Elumelu.
Recall, Elumelu is one the notable and first to be reckoned with as far as Nigeria’s industrialization development is concerned. What are your reactions to his comment above?
