Ebira people are key contributors to food security in Ondo State- Dr Adelami

The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Chief, Dr. Olayide Owolabi Adelami, during his visit to Ebira community in Owo local government area of Ondo state, has said that Ebira people are key contributors to food security in Ondo state.

Adelami said, “The Ebira people are key contributors to food security in Ondo state with their involvement in farming activities, predominantly in the northern senatorial district.

“They have a large concentration in Owo LG due to the long number of years they have lived with us.”

According to Adelami, on behalf of the entire Ebira community in Owo, the Ohinoyi of Ebira in Owo promised their total support for Aiyedatiwa-led government in Ondo state, and at same time pledged that his people will vote massively for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state.

“Today, I visited the Ebira community in Owo, where their leader, the Ohinoyi Ebira in Owo, Isa Ahmed, promised their total support for the Aiyedatiwa-led administration. He added that his people will vote massively for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in the forthcoming governorship election.” Said, Adelami.

The Deputy Governor assured them Ondo State Government would continue to provide a conducive environment for them and all other non-indigenes to thrive in every legit business they engage in across the state.

“In turn, I assured them that our government would continue to provide a conducive environment for all non-indigenes to thrive in every legit business they engage in.” Adelami said.
