Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki loses mother to death; Peter Obi pays condolence visit to Saraki Over passing of his Mother’s
The former Anambra State and presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP) during the 2023 general election, Mr. Peter Obi, has joined several other notable personalities in the country to pay condolence visit to ex-governor of Kwara State and former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, over the passing of his mother, Mrs Florence Morenikeji Saraki.
Obi, who signed the condolence register at Saraki’s house in Lagos, took to his official social media (X) handle, to share the moment.
Obi said, “Today in Lagos, I paid a Condolence Visit to My Dear Brother, Former Senate President, and Former Governor of Kwara State, Dr. Abubakar @bukolasaraki, over the death of his beloved mother, Mrs. Florence Morenike Saraki.”
The former Anambra State Governor, Obi commiserated with the former Senate President and his entire family over the irreparable loss.
” On behalf of my family, I sincerely commiserate with him and the entire Saraki family, over their sad irreplaceable loss. May God Almighty who called her home, forgive her sins, grant her eternal rest, and grant the Saraki family, the fortitude to bear the loss.
“God Almighty protect and bless the Saraki family always.”
Recall, Dr. Bukola Saraki, has taken to his official social media handle to announce the passing of his mother. According to Saraki, the burial arrangements of his late mother will be made known later.
Saraki said, “With profound sadness and total submission to the will of Almighty God, I announce the passing of my beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and matriarch, Chief Mrs. Florence Morenike Saraki, who peacefully transitioned today, Tuesday, June 18th, 2024.
“Details regarding funeral arrangements will be shared in due course. We appreciate your love, prayers, and support as we mourn Mama’s passing.”
