Apostle Arome Osayi highlights reasons many don’t get answer to their prayers.
The Nigerian born clergyman, revivalist, founder and president of Remnant Christian Network (RCN), Apostle Arome Osayi, has highlighted reasons many don’t get answer to their prayers.
According to Naijasermons, Apostle Osayi said, “The first limitation I find in the prayer experience of an average believer is his inability to give himself. I know that you pray for long and that is good, there is what we call consistent prayer, and that prayer is prayer of knocking at the door, and most of you cannot knock beyond three days and there are things, some things that were born from the womb that sustains the protocol for prayer. Most of us don’t stay long enough in prayer to get results, you need to have the ability to give all your entire members to the engine called prayers.
“The average believer does not know how to give himself to the spirit of prayer. There is a personality that works prayer from your human spirit because you donot have the ability and energy to communicate enough for it to make any impression in the courts of heaven, so the prayer protocol is driven by the spirit of prayer.
“Do you know that it is what you give to the spirit of prayer that he works with. If all you give to the spirit of prayer is your physical body, then the spirit of prayer will only be able to energise your physical body, if what you give to prayer is your mind, then that is the tool the spirit of prayer has to orchestrate his ministry of bringing your voice before the throne of grace.
“My first lesson is teach you how to give your soul, how to give your spirit, and how to allow yourself to be overtaken by the spirit of prayer because many of us have not experience that intercourse with God, where God swipes you up and you are no longer in charge, and then he releases you from detention three hours later.
“Many of us have not experience that, and it is not because you are not powerful enough, I have heard of your stories but your problem is that you don’t know how to give yourself to the spirit of prayer.
“There should be a point where your heart and your mouth meets in agreement because it is possible for your heart to be saying something, and your mouth is saying something else.
“This creature we call man is a complex entity, they have diverse path that may seems to resonate on a different frequencies, but being able to collocate the paths of this entity called man, and to submit such path to the spirit of prayer, so that he can work out the protocol of bringing you before the presence of God.
“If you pray this kind of prayer, you will feel God’s response on any part you make available to God, you will feel it on your spirit, you will feel it on your physical body, and you will feel it in your soul.”
