Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara has received the delegation of the Nigerian Navy in Port Harcourt on Thursday.
Governor Fubara disclosed this via his official social media handle, stating that, the delegation was led by the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla.
Governor Fubara: “Today, I received a delegation of the Nigerian Navy, led by the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla.”
The Governor said they had fruitful deliberations on ways of collaborations to ensure the safety of waterways and reduce oil theft in Rivers.
“We had fruitful deliberations on ways of collaborations to secure the waterways and reduce oil theft in our state.” Said, Rivers’ Governor.
He added that, “It was quite encouraging to know that Naval operations, within this period, have recorded some commendable successes.”
