A Prominent Traditional Ruler In Akure South LGA Of Ondo State, Oba Julius Omomo Joins His Ancestors After Reigning For 11 Months

The Olojoda of Oda kingdom in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State, Julius Omomo, has joined his ancestors at the age of 83.

A family source, Prince Ade Adelakun, confirmed the monarch’s death on Sunday.

Recall, Oba Omomo was installed last year May, after the demise of the previous traditional ruler, who died after a brief illness.

“The late monarch cared for his subjects as well as the unity and progress of the state,” he said.

Adelakun also described the deceased monarch’s years of reign as remarkably eventful in Oda community.
