Kano State CP, Gumel Commends POS Operator For Exhibiting Honesty In Reporting The Case Of N10m Wrongly Transferred To His Account
The Kano State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Gumel, has commended a POS operator for exhibiting honesty and good conduct in reporting the case of N10 million instead of N10,000, wrongly transferred to his account in Kano.
“… the POS Operator reported to the Police that he has realized that one of his customers who is yet to be identified, wrongly transferred to his account Ten Million Naira (N10,000,000:00) instead of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000:00), and it took the Police investigation three (03) months period in identifying the owner of the excess money.” Said, Police.
The police said further that, “After getting all the proofs, CP Gumel casts encomium to both the POS Operator and the Police team from the State CID for the display of honesty, integrity, professionalism and encourages others to follow this rare exemplary track.”
