Ondo State Executive Council has approved the sum of N3.47 billion counterpart funds for the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project , RAAMP
Commissioner for Energy, Mines and Mineral Resources, Mr Razaq Obe & the Special Adviser to the Governor on Information and Strategy, Mr Olugbenga Omole made this known on Thursday in Akure, the State capital.
Obe said, the project would see many feeder roads asphalted to connect rural dwellers to towns and drive the economy of the state through Agriculture, while other life-impacting projects would be executed.
Omole said, the state government has approved the sum of five hundred million naira for a street lighting system via solar-powered lights in Akure.
He disclosed further that the State Government also approved the appointment of Prince Adu Omotayo as the new Asinigbo of Isinigbo in Akure North Council and as well as the appointment of warrant Chiefs for the purpose of appointing new Afa of Oke-Agbe in Akoko North West Council Area.
