The Kaduna born human rights activist and former lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani, has said, Kaduna state has no thick forest where over 200 pupils could be hidden without being detected.
Senator Sani made this statement via his official X, following the abduction of over 200 school pupils in Kaduna state.
“Kaduna, like most northern states of Nigeria, lies on the Savanna geographical belt. We don’t have thick forest where over 200 pupils can be hidden without being detected using the best of technology.” Said, Sani
Senator Sani said further that, “Locating them is one thing and the next challenge is the thought of the consequences of the use of force to rescue them.”
Sani opined that the defence and security agencies
are weighing on the best and safest ways of rescuing the pupils.
“I believe defence and security agencies are weighing on the best and safest ways.The terrorists have limited options. I’m optimistic that the pupils freedom will be secured.” Said, Senator Sani.
